Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday that PM Narendra Modi, he and his group of ministers are constantly under surveillance. He said that the Indian government is taking all measures to prevent the corona virus.

Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan has responded in detail in the Parliament on how much danger the corona virus is and what the government is doing about it. He said in Rajya Sabha that so far 29 people in the country have been infected with corona, out of which 3 have been cured and others are undergoing treatment. As of March 4, a total of 28529 people have been placed on community surveillance. Harshvardhan said that PM Modi, he and the group of ministers are constantly under surveillance. He also said that the Government of India had started preparations before issuing guidelines on behalf of WHO.
All patients have a stable condition
The Health Minister said that recovery has been done in 3 cases. There have been new cases in the last three days. 1 case came up in Delhi which came from Italy. 1 person was found infected in Hyderabad who returned from Dubai. 6 people were found infected in Agra, who had come in contact with a Delhi patient. Tourists from Italy and his wife are admitted in Rajasthan, along with 14 other members and 1 Indian driver are also infected with Corona. Another youth was found infected in Delhi yesterday who came from Italy. Everyone's condition is stable.
PM is monitoring
Referring to the government's preparedness, the Health Minister said that the government is making every effort to prevent it. He said that the PM himself is monitoring it. The Health Minister said that the Government of India has taken several steps to stop it. I am reviewing every day. A Group of Ministers has been formed. It has had four meetings since its formation on 3 February. The Health Minister said that the WHO has declared the corona virus a public health emergency although it has not declared an epidemic. India started preparations from 17 January, when the WHO did not issue an advisory.
Neither advise to go into countries
Travel advisories are being changed according to the situation. Visa issued by 3 March 2020 to all passengers from Italy, Iran, South Korea, Japan, who have not entered India, have been postponed. Visa for people coming from China has also been postponed from 5 February. Visa for all foreign travelers who have gone to China, Iran, Italy, South Korea, Japan have also been suspended. The United States diplomats and OCI card holders and air crew are exempted, but will be granted entry into India only after scrutiny. Full details are being taken from people coming from all countries. Indian citizens are advised not to go to China, Iran, Korea, Italy and Japan. Avoid unnecessary travel to other countries affected by Kovid-19. Passengers from foreign countries are being investigated at 21 airports.
Investigation of people in frontier areas
Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said that investigations are being done in areas connected with neighboring countries and people are being made aware. The border areas of UP, Bihar, Bengal, Assam are being monitored. The help of Gram Sabha is being sought. 11 lakh people have been screened.
